Participants will examine their own results and learn practical skills and model to apply in coaching settings.

Have you ever worked with a student who is “stuck?” Tried all of your coaching skills and techniques and still unsure what to do? This session will explore this common phenomenon in coaching and offer insights into the theory of Motivational Interviewing (MI). MI is a collaborative conversation style that helps elicit motivation and unlock action. This presentation will provide a brief
overview of MI, its skillset, and practical tools to apply in your coaching sessions.
