College and Career
Advice from college and career coach Carol Carter:
Think about the classes you take in college as you would the job you most want when you graduate. How should you act? How do you want others to think of you? What kind of a difference would you like to make in class and on the job? How do you want to be rewarded and compensated?
If you show up to each class as you would if you were a committed, focused, and enthusiastic employee, you will get more out of your education and develop important professional skills while youre still in college. So prepare for every class, dress for success, be a strong team member and leader, and treat your professor and class members with the utmost respect. Every move you make today will help you create an important track record for your future.
