Our President, Carol J. Carter

Carol Carter is founder and president of LifeBound.

Before starting LifeBound, Carol Carter was an executive in corporate America for fifteen years, as Publisher of Student Success and Career Development at the college level for Pearson Education. Over the past ten years, she has presented seminars and workshops to both faculty and students. In addition, Carol has provided corporate coaching to many organizations, including AOL Time Warner, StorageTek and the US Navy. Carol Carter is also a prolific author; following are the many of the titles she has authored or co-authored on college, parenting and career success:

Carol Carter has taught welfare-to-work classes and is a partner with the Denver Housing Authority. She has helped to transition Native American inmates through life skills classes and team taught in the "La Familia Scholars Program" at the Community College of Denver. In 2003, Carol foundedf the Denver, Colorado chapter for LifeSkills for the Future. She is the host of "Keys to Lifelong Learning," a twenty-six episode telecourse that helps students prepare for college, career and life success. In addition to working with students of all ages, Carol thrives on foreign travel and culture; she has visited over forty foreign countries.
